Roving picnicsThe touring picnic is a real discovery of the Bel Ombre region. You will enjoy a guided tour in an all-terrain Land Rover (nicknamed Bostok) along a picturesque route in the south-west of Mauritius, with stops in exceptional places such as the Macondé viewpoint, Le Morne, One-Eye (a favourite spot for kite and windsurf lovers) and Case Noyale, a Pié Lafours (banyan tree) that is more than 100 years old. This ride will take you to the top of Chamarel where you will find the Chamarel restaurant, which will invite you to taste wonderful crêpes accompanied by the famous Chamarel coffee, the only coffee created in the region. While you are there, you will be able to admire one of the best views of Mauritius and contemplate the beauty of our island. Bostok will then take the direction of Plaines Champagnes before reaching Pink Pigeon, the perfect place to have a nice break and relax after a day full of discovery and emotion.
This tour is available from Rs 3,200 per person (minimum 2 people) and includes a snack at Chamarel restaurant and a picnic lunch.
